HaBaWaBa Spain announces new dates for summer 2021
From July 22 to 25 at the Sylvia Fontana pool in Tarragona (Barcelona)
HaBaWaBa Spain will finally happen in 2021. After canceling the 2020 and the Easter 2021 editions due to the coronavirus, the organization has announced that the third edition will take place from July 22 to 25.
Teams will enjoy three days of competition and a day dedicated to adrenaline and fun at PortAventura Park. The reference water polo festival for young ages maintains the venue in the Sylvia Fontana outdoor Olympic pool in Tarragona, one hour away from Barcelona.
The event is aimed at two age groups: benjamin (U10) and alevin (U12). Therefore, HaBaWaBa Spain will be for co-ed teams with players born between 2009 and 2012.
Third time's the charm
After two postponements, the return of practically all water polo competitions in Spain and Catalonia, in addition to the improvement of the health situation, have motivated the HaBaWaBa Spain team to put the tournament off for this summer.
"We want the little ones to be able to finish a complicated and atypical season with a festival like HaBaWaBa, where fun, learning and a good atmosphere are guaranteed," General Manager Cristina Marín says.
Registration is open
Teams can already pre-register for the Festival using the official HaBaWaBa Spain website.
The price of each participant is €195 and includes registration, three days in full board and a complete day in PortAventura Park.
